Welcome to another "virtual" meeting of the Rotary Club of San Marcos.  For those who are more "hands on", we meet every Thursday at 12 noon at the Lake San Marcos Country Club.  The address is 1750 San Pablo Dr. in San Marcos, CA, and here is a map.

Our club was chartered in 1956 and is a member of Rotary District 5340.  We are involved in a wide range of service projects ranging from local to international.

Founded in 1905 by Paul Harris, Rotary International is an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.  In more than 166 countries worldwide, approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 31,000 Rotary clubs.

The Rotary Club of San Marcos supports many community and humanitarian projects ranging from

our co-sponsorship of the local "Concerts in the Garden" at Woodland Park and providing Dictionaries to students in all Third Grade classes of San Marcos Schools, to our annual Building a House in Mexico Project, helping provide Computers for the Blind in India and Chile, and our participation in the ongoing worldwide Rotary project of eradicating Polio.  For more information on our activities click on the Projects and Media link in the menu to the left.

If you are interested in our mission and in joining us please click on the What is Rotary? and How to Join Rotary links on the menu.

We're always in the middle of a virtual meeting here so sit down, put your feet up, and relax.  Please add this site to your Favorites and be sure to stop by again soon.  If you have any questions or comments about this website please direct them to our .
