Anyone may choose to vote by mail.  You can request an absentee ballot as early
as 60 days prior to an election and ballots are mailed out beginning on the 29th day
before an election.  However, all applications must be received no later than seven
days before an election.

You may download the application below and return it to the Registrar
of Voters.

Some important dates for this year's General Election.

    October 4, 2010 - First day Absentee Ballots are available
    October 18, 2010 - Last day to register and be eligible to vote
    October 26, 2010 - Last day to apply for an Absentee Ballot by Mail
    November 2, 2010 - Last day to apply for an Absentee Ballot in Person
    November 2, 2010 - Election Day
