Attach2 cement their mark at the Diesel, Dirt & Turf Expo as leaders in the excavator attachment industry.

We were excited to exhibit at this year’s largest construction expo in Australia; Diesel Dirt and Turf (DDT) held in Sydney, NSW, from Friday 12th – Sunday 14th April. This was an excellent platform to not only showcase our large product range and services but to release new products, build relationships that go beyond business and to ensure everyone that visited our stand left with a positive experience.

Product Showcase and Launches

We displayed an extensive array of products including the range of couplers, buckets, and grabs in order to cater for our whole audience who are from various sectors of the construction industry. Not only were the products on display physically, but they were on also being shown in-use through an extra-large 4.5m x 3m LED screen showcasing how contractors can get working faster by optimising their performance. The highlight of the event was the launch of our new 2024 heavy-duty 40-50t product range plus Sieve buckets for medium sized excavators. These additions underscore our constant dedication to providing robust solutions for heavy-duty applications, emphasising durability and efficiency. These new products set a new benchmark in the industry by catering to the ever-growing needs of heavy machinery working in tougher terrains on much bigger projects.

Two excavators were on display fitted with full Performance Packages. The Yanmar VIO55 5 tonne machine stood proud out front on our stand demonstrating extra versatility and enhanced functionality through our famous Heli-Tilt Coupler, paired with a range of our most popular buckets. The second was the Hitachi ZX17 1.7 tonne excavator, fitted with our solid Mini-Tilt Coupler and a array of buckets to illustrate how even smaller excavators can achieve superior performance with the right attachments.

Community Engagement and Promotions

We were stoked to offer an epic chance to win a Yamaha TTR50 children’s motorbike to all excavator owners during this event. Loads of entries flew in over the three days and Kerrod from RKG Plumbing was lucky enough to be the randomly selected winner! This prize was not just a win for Kerrod but a great gift for his family, promising future adventures for his young niece and for their new addition on the way. This personal touch added a layer of community spirit to the event, aligning our commitment to building relationships beyond business.

We added to every visitor’s experience by having two professional baristas onsite to provide free professionally made coffees to anyone seeking a caffeine fix. This was a gesture that was well-received and appreciated by the hundreds of visitors as the baristas were flat out making over 250 coffees per day! These coffees may have seemed like a simple gesture, but it was another extension of our commitment to ensuring every guest left with a positive impression, not just of the products but of our brand’s hospitality.

Impact and Reception

Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with many noting the practical displays of the attachments as highly informative and a testament to the quality and functionality of the full Attach2 product range. The ability to see the attachments in action on the large LED screen provided potential buyers with a tangible sense of confidence in their investment decisions through seeing other contractors talk first-hand about their experience with the A2 products and service.

Overall it was a resounding success to be on display at the Diesel Dirt and Turf Expo by being able to cement our mark as leaders in the excavator attachment industry through showcasing strategic product showcases, meaningful community engagement, and effective brand positioning. As we continue to innovate and expand our product line we are sure all attendees will now be waiting with anticipation for what we will bring next year to DDT as we grow with the evolving landscape of construction machinery.
