Started in 1956 by Charlie Ross and Jeff Nash, Nash & Ross have steadily matured and grown over the decades, but haven't changed as a true blue family business owned and operated out of Dunedin.

"Back then they didn't have diggers, just trucks, loaders and dozers."

Current owner Steven Ross (Charlie Ross's Son) started working in the family business after first gaining experience working for Fulton Hogan over 40 years ago. Now as general manager Steven Ross humbly tells us "it's not a big business" although they do have eight diggers from 35 tonnes down to 2 tonnes, not to mention a half dozen trucks, a class A landfill, dozers and compactors.

Nash and Ross complete a range of general contracting tasks from site works, clearing and demolition for some of the more prominent building companies in Dunedin.

With the delivery of a couple of new machines, Steven elected to go with Attach2 as their attachment provider, getting A2Lock tilting Hitches, bucket sets and Multi Grabs as part of their package.

He sees the Multi Grab Bucket as being a well-utilised tool to the business due to its versatility and ability as a highly durable grab. Since it can be swapped between machines of the same weight range, it saves installing thumbs on all new diggers where only one grab is required on the job.
