Attach2 Ltd are excited to announce the successful acquisition of Robur Attachments. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in Attach2’s commitment to providing a comprehensive service offering to the construction market in New Zealand.  

Under this acquisition, Attach2 has obtained the brand, intellectual property, stock and certain assets of the Robur Attachments sales division. Additionally, Attach2 has employed the core Robur Team based in Auckland and will continue to operate out of the current premises in Mt Wellington, Auckland. Concurrently, Clem Simpkin will continue to operate the Robur Attachments Hire division independently and under a new brand name, which will be announced shortly.  

Robur will continue to operate independently to Attach2, maintaining the same standards Robur are renowned for. The primary change will involve a change in bank account and the legal entity which will be Attach2 Limited. 

Will Robur’s services and products continue?  

Yes, Robur's services and products will continue. We are committed to upholding the same quality products and services that you've come to expect from Robur.  

How will this acquisition affect me as a customer? 

As a customer, you can expect minimal changes in your interactions with Robur. The same knowledgeable staff and customer service helpline will ensure uninterrupted service. The main change for you will be updating your records so you are buying from and issuing purchase orders to Attach2 Ltd instead of Robur Attachments Ltd. 

Will the contact information change? 

No, the contact information, including phone numbers and email addresses, will remain the same. You can continue reaching out to Robur's representatives through the usual channels. 

What about the Attachment hire division? 

Clem Simpkin's Attachment hire division will operate independently under a new brand, which will be announced soon.  

If you want a Robur Attachment to Hire, please continue to work with the same team being Clem, Grant and Jody. 

Will there be any changes to billing or payments?  

Yes, as this has been acquired into the Attach2 legal entity, banking, terms and conditions will be with Attach2 limited. The legal business name will be Attach2 Limited. If you haven't already got our details, please reach out to us for them. 

Any invoices dated prior to 15th of September 2023 will need to be settled and amounts paid into the current Robur bank account, and any invoices dated from the 18th of September need to be paid into the Attach2 bank account.  

Will my existing warranty with Robur be honoured?   

Yes, but to be specific and so no surprises, the entity Robur Attachments Limited holds the liability of all warranties associated with products sold up until the 15th of September 2023. Starting from the 18th of September 2023, Attach2 Limited will be responsible for any Robur attachments sold, and these products will carry the Robur product warranty conditions, not Attach2’s warranty conditions. 

When does the changeover take place?  

The official changeover of the brand, intellectual property, stock and certain assets from Robur Attachments Limited to Attach2 Ltd will take place on close of business 15th of September 2023 which is a Friday and ready to continue doing business on Monday the 18th of September 2023.
